Vertiv Co in Mexicali, Mexico, seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse activities, inventory integrity, and team performance. You will ensure timely delivery to production lines and customers while enforcing lean practices and 5S standards.

The role requires 5–8+ years in warehouse or logistics within manufacturing, plus 3+ years of supervisory experience and strong ERP knowledge. Candidates should excel in communication and problem solving with a Lean mindset.

Formación

  • 5–8+ years of warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing production operations.

Responsabilidades

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Monitor warehouse workflow and allocate resources to meet operational objectives.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse procedures, processes, and best practices.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and FIFO/FEFO methodologies where applicable.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse personnel, including supervisors, leads, and warehouse associates.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements, scheduling, and workload balancing.
  • Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations

Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
  • 5–8+ years of warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing production operations.
Technical Skills
  • Strong inventory control and material flow management knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with barcode scanning systems and warehouse automation technologies.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
