Overview

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to ensure efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role will play a key part in supporting production continuity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in materials handling and storage processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations within manufacturing (automotive industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, material flow, and warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP such as SAP).
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies.
• Forklift operation knowledge/certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with logistics, production, and quality teams.
• Intermediate English for communication in global environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts and system transactions.
• Maintain compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards.
• Monitor material flow to support production schedules and avoid shortages.
• Implement and sustain Lean/5S practices in the warehouse.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed by warehouse personnel.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and suppliers.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) related to warehouse and materials management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize space, processes, and costs.
