Amazon Logistics in Mexico City is seeking an Automation Project Engineer to own deployments of automated Material Handling Equipment in the Delivery Station Network. You will design, manage projects, install, commission and ramp up performance.

The role requires engineers with strong automation, planning and execution skills, interacting with Process Engineering, Operations, Facilities and Engineering teams to deploy advanced technology within AMZL. Frequent domestic travel is involved.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years as an industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineer.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsabilidades

• Design and own automation deployments for MX last mile operations.
• Create business cases to introduce automation and improve performance.
• Produce technical docs: flow diagrams, layouts, schedules, budgets for new systems.
• Support lessons learned to inform next generation designs.
• Define integration plans for MHE with control teams.
• Support deployment of new MHE installations with field teams.
• Help develop service and maintenance concepts for AMZL field teams.
