Schneider Electric in Apodaca, MX, seeks a Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineer to customize LV motor control centers, switchgear, and electrical assemblies for Plant 1. You will adapt standard products to meet customer specs and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to deliver compliant solutions.
Responsibilities include creating BOMs, reviewing wiring diagrams, and supporting manufacturing and commissioning activities.
We are seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Design Engineer to support the customization and engineering of Low Voltage Motor Control Centers (LVMCC), Low Voltage Dropout, Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, power distribution equipment, and electrical assemblies at our Plant 1 in Apodaca.
This role is ideal for engineers with experience in low-voltage electrical systems, power distribution equipment, industrial control panels, and electromechanical design who enjoy adapting standard products to meet customer-specific requirements.
In this role, you will work on the customization of electrical equipment and assemblies, including MCCs, switchboards, control panels, copper bus systems, sheet metal components, and associated electrical devices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customers to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions for low-voltage distribution and motor control applications.
