Flex is seeking a Material Planning Analyst in Guadalajara, North Campus to manage demand, analyze data, and support materials functions for timely deliveries. You will track performance through reports, handle excess/obsolete analyses, and present BOM analyses to customers while coordinating with program and materials teams.

Responsibilities include weekly MRP releases to purchasing, demand vs. availability analysis, data uploads in the MRP system, and lead-time awareness.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent degree in a related field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Advanced English and communication skills.
• Strong data analysis knowledge.
• MRP knowledge and material planning experience.
• Experience with Kinaxis or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel for data analysis.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus. The Material Planning Analyst role involves managing and planning customer demand, data analysis to support multiple areas within the materials function to ensure on time and efficient deliveries.

Typical Day

• Track the materials team performance through diverse reports.
• Manage excess and obsolete analysis and implement corrective actions when required.
• Present “Bill Of Materials” analysis to the customer.
• Work closely to program management and materials management areas.
• Release the MRP execution to purchasing in a weekly basis.
• Analyze the demand from customers and based on materials availability, determine if the customer’s demand can be built (availability and schedules).
• Upload data at MRP system: following the guidelines provided by materials and program management considering customer’s demand information.
• Work closely with purchasing team to improve material arrivals.
• Awareness and tracking of lead times.
• Analyze and authorize ECOs (engineering change orders) to Product Engineering team.
• Inventory data projection.
• Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts.
• May assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the research of data.
• Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Related Electronics manufacturing industry experience.
• Strong experience using Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and process tracking.
• Strong experience in materials such as: supply chain, purchasing, material planning, etc.
• BA/BS or equivalent degree.
• Strong data analysis knowledge.
• Strong MRP knowledge.
• Advanced English.
• Advanced Excel.
• Assertive communication skills to internal and external customer: verbal and written.
• Able to build strong relationships.
• Strong Experience on efficient control.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with Databases such as Kinaxis.
