Capgemini Engineering Mexico is seeking a seasoned MES/Opcenter specialist to guide implementation and integration across ERP, shop floor systems and equipment controls. You will lead design, documentation, and collaboration with business users, analysts, and developers, bringing 5+ years in .NET/SQL and Camstar/Opcenter to drive successful deployments.

The role offers challenging projects, global teams, and opportunities to advance expertise in digital manufacturing.

Formación

• 5+ years with .NET, C#, JavaScript and SQL.
• 5+ years with Siemens Camstar/Opcenter.
• 3+ years in Camstar/Opcenter solution design and deployment.
• Experience with MES implementation.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Identify requirements scope with analysts and define an Opcenter solution using OOTB functionality.
• Create Component Design Documents for users and developers to understand.
• Guide Opcenter developers to ensure changes align with the design.
• Define solutions integrating ERP, Opcenter APS, and equipment controls.
• Advise business on MES setup during implementation.
• Assist operations support to troubleshoot production issues.
• Track progress of defects and enhancements in JIRA.

Your role

• Work closely with business analysts and key users to identify the scope of requirements and define solution that utilize the Opcenter (Camstar) OOTB functionality.
• Define solution documentation (Component Design Document) that can be comprehended by both key user and developer.
• Provide guidance to the Opcenter developer to ensure the changes comply with the design.
• Work with various tech team to define solution that integrate with various system such as ERP, Opcenter APS, equipment controls etc.
• Provide guidance to business team on setting up the MES during system implementation.
• Assist the operation support team to troubleshoot production issues.
• Track and update progress for all assigned defect/enhancement tasks through JIRA system.

Your profile

• Opcenter Application Expertise and Know-how: Opcenter Portal, Portal studio. Opcenter Connect MOM, Opcenter APS and Opcenter Intelligence will be added advantages.
• Development skills: .net programming, SQL query.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarize manufacturing processes.
• Strong verbal/written communication skill and teamwork.
• Ability to define and manage user expectations using domain knowledge and past working experience.
• 5+ years of development languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript and SQL\store procedures\functions
• 5+ years of development in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter technologies (Portal\Designer\CIO\MIO)
• 3+ years’ experience in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter solution design and full system deployment.
• Experience in developing Opcenter Execution Electronics or electronic industry will be added advantages.
• 3+ years’ experience in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter solution design and full system deployment.
