Medtronic in Mexico is seeking a qualified Industrial Engineering/Lead Technician to drive production activities, manage schedules, budgets and staffing, and uphold KPI targets across production lines. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and at least 5 years’ leadership experience in manufacturing.

Spanish language required; English is a plus. The role involves rotating shifts, cost control, Lean/Six Sigma principles, and using systems like Tress with Supervisor Module.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Technician or Line Lead.
• Experience in KPI management and tracking.
• Intermediate English, preferred.
• Knowledge of budget control.
• Knowledge of Project Management.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience using the Tress system, Supervisor Module.
• Proficiency in Excel and BPCS, preferred.
• Availability to work rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
• Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Collaboration and Productivity Software, Effective Communication Skills.
• Functional Skills: Machining and Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.
