Job summary

Hussmann-American, S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking an HR leader for our manufacturing operations in Mexico. The role partners with BU Managers and Manufacturing Leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives and ensure policy compliance.

You will lead labor relations, recruitment for salaried and hourly roles, and drive performance management and training programs to meet evolving plant needs.

Qualifications

• 5 years in HR roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in wage and salary, payroll, labor law, employment practices, training & compensation.
• Understanding of applicable labor, tax, social security & housing fund laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
• HRMS experience preferred.
• Experience with high-volume recruiting.
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to build relationships with unions.

Responsibilities

• Administer policies/procedures and design HR practices aligned with business objectives.
• Provide leadership to ensure HR is viewed as a source of problem resolution and fairness/diversity.
• Manage labor/employee relations for the Business Units and prepare for labor negotiations.
• Coordinate and ensure hiring processes for all salaried and hourly positions.
• Guide and direct performance management processes for all employees.
• Develop and coordinate training efforts to meet changing skill or cultural needs of the facility.
• Facilitate plant communications to keep employees informed and engaged with plant goals and integration activities.
