Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant operations ensuring safety, quality, and on-time HVAC production. You will supervise supervisors and operators, optimize labor and equipment, and drive continuous improvement across the line.

The role requires a strong track record in Lean and CI, a hands-on leadership style, and collaboration with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Manufacturing or Production Manager role.
• Proven experience leading production teams and managers.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily production activities to meet schedules and delivery commitments.
• Develop supervisors and operators, setting clear objectives and accountability.
• Optimize labor, equipment, and materials for efficiency and capacity.
• Eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools and Six Sigma principles.
• Partner with Quality to ensure conformance to specs and procedures.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and downtime.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with industrial safety requirements.
