Kohler Co. in Juárez, Nuevo León, México, seeks an engineering professional to provide production support, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure efficient operations.

This on-site role collaborates with production teams to improve processes and reduce costs. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience with lean systems; bilingual skills and Windows proficiency are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience with lean systems preferred.
• Proficient with Windows-based software; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering support for daily production, quality control, problem solving, cost reduction and meeting schedules.
• Oversee production processes and suggest changes to improve efficiency.
• Support the maintenance department in troubleshooting the manufacturing process, tools and dies.
• Develop and maintain labor standards in complex operations.
• Assist in providing associates training as required and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Monitor and Keep track of the different Metrics of the Plant.
• Assist the implementation of the Kohler Operating System (KOS)
• Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality and cost in the Plant operations.
• Develop quality projects through Lean Manufacturing tools in order to get cost reduction and improve the results in the areas.
• Support the team work in order for them to give follow-up to the established methods, once the projects had been implemented.
• Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position (See Responsibilities chart by position).
• Comply with all the requirements by ISO 9001-2015 Management.
