Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a senior professional to drive LATAM social media and franchise marketing initiatives. You will lead local content localization, manage external agencies, and ensure alignment with global priorities across multiple IPs and markets.

The role requires at least six years of experience in entertainment or digital/social strategy, strong stakeholder collaboration skills, and fluency in English and Spanish with Portuguese a plus. Travel ~5% may be required.

YOUR ROLE

This position is responsible for driving the execution of strategic franchise initiatives across Latin America, leading efforts to bring WBD’s iconic IPs to life in locally relevant and culturally resonant ways. The role combines project leadership and strategic support with hands‑on management of local social media deployment, partnering closely with external vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure content is localized, impactful, and aligned with Global Franchise priorities.

Acting as a connector across teams and markets, the role plays a key part in amplifying WBD’s storytelling, fostering deeper fan engagement, and identifying opportunities to expand reach and impact across LATAM. The position also contributes to building scalable, forward‑looking franchise ecosystems, ensuring strong coordination, execution, and alignment across regional and global stakeholders.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Social Media & Digital (50%)
  • Lead engagement with external social media vendors/agencies to manage and deploy local LATAM franchise handles.
  • Oversee content localization and cultural relevance (Spanish LATAM and Brazilian Portuguese) across posts, CRM communications, and copy.
  • Own alignment of content calendars with global priorities and local market needs.
  • Drive coordination across multiple LOBs to ensure integrated messaging across campaigns.
  • Ensure quality control and consistency of brand voice across platforms.
  • Monitor performance and provide insights to optimize engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen local fan connection and market impact.
Franchise & Project Management (50%)
  • Lead coordination of regional franchise initiatives and timelines across key IPs (e.g., DC, Harry Potter, WB Animation, etc.)
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for internal and global stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across LOBs (Theatrical, CP, Streaming, Ad Sales, etc.)
  • Manage deliverables, approvals, and key milestones across multiple projects.
  • Oversee asset management and approval processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Work Experience
  • At least six (6) years of relevant experience required, including experience managing external agencies and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in entertainment, media, franchise marketing, and/or digital/social strategy strongly preferred, including experience across LATAM markets.
  • Experience working with social media agencies or content production preferred.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders (such as vendors.)
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment, while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Must have the ability to organize work, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate effectively under time constraints, with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to details and handle confidential material.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), digital content, and performance analytics required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese (Brazilian) strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud software (such as Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) required.
Other Requirements
  • Must be able to travel as needed approximately 5% of the time.
  • Must be able to collaborate across global time zones as needed.
  • May be required to support early morning or evening publishing windows tied to global campaigns, premieres, or tentpole moments.
