Job summary

BMW Group is seeking an experienced production leader to ensure the successful ramp-up of the Battery Plant production system within the Maintenance team. You will lead people, manage resources, and drive quality improvements in a high-tech automotive setting.

The role requires strong leadership, industrial maintenance and project management experience, with emphasis on production optimization, cost control, and adherence to BMW guidelines and HR policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance or project management, automotive preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.
• Fluent written and spoken business English.

Responsibilities

• Manage people and resources, solve problems, assure quality and improve production capability (optimization and cycle time).
• Implement BMW work organization, VPS methods and continuous improvement processes.
• Control production process regarding quality, quantity and costs; supervise production associates.
• Manage, instruct, and assign tasks.
• Ensure correct startup of production.
• Handle disciplinary, labor law, HR responsibilities per laws and BMW guidelines.
