Job summary

Continental is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Mexico to lead maintenance interventions and manage shift tasks within SAP PM. You will work with shift leaders to ensure timely work orders and verify task completion with internal clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, leadership skills, and experience in automotive/manufacturing maintenance. English is a plus, and knowledge of electrical/electronic controls is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Engineering in Electronic, Mechatronic, Automation, Electrical Mechanic or similar.

• Experience: InMaintenance in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.
• In Maintenance Supervisor with experience in personnel
• Knowledge: Electrical and electronic control, Drives, Servo positioning, PLCs, IPCs
• Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Basic Knowledge of Mechanics, TCU's
• Communication protocols for electrical/electronic controls, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
• Maintenance Administration (preventive and predictive)
• Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting Tools
• Shift role availability.

Responsibilities

• Contribution to Main Maintenance KPIs: Expenses, MTTR, MTBF, MMR & Lost Time in line with Preventive Programs & Corrective Actions.
• Ensure, with Maintenance Shift Leaders, receipt/delivery of pending tasks at shift changes and follow up on work orders in SAP PM.
• Ensure correct usage of SAP PM for work orders and management of personnel executing tasks.
• Supervise maintenance interventions to verify and validate tasks with internal clients.

• Contribution to the Main Maintenance KPI ´s: Expenses, MTTR, MTBF, MMR & Lost Time in compliance to Preventive Programs & Corrective Actions.
• Ensure, together with the Maintenance Shift Leaders team, the receipt and delivery of pending tasks at each shift change as appropriate, in order to follow up on work orders in SAP PM.
• Ensure the correct usage of the SAP PM system, both in the follow up of work orders (opening and closing) and the management of the personnel executing tasks.
• Supervise the maintenance interventions of the personnel in charge, in order to verify and validate, together with the internal clients, the tasks carried out.
