Victaulic in Chihuahua, MX is seeking a Maintenance Planner to ensure spare parts inventory supports maintenance operations and to coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers for correct material procurement.

The role requires strong experience in maintenance planning, inventory auditing, and negotiation, with an emphasis on accurate stock levels and timely supplier follow-ups to maintain seamless maintenance workflows.

Formación

• Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar role.
• Proficient in Excel (intermediate).
• Knowledge of spare parts administration and inventory control.
• Experience with supplier management and purchase requisitions.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure spare parts inventory levels are maintained to support maintenance operations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure correct materials are purchased through Purchase Orders.
• Audit spare parts inventory levels, including min/max stock requirements.
• Follow up on supplier Purchase Orders and material deliveries, supporting Purchasing as needed.

Job DescriptionMaintenance PlannerThe Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring that spare parts inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels in the warehouse to support maintenance operations.ResponsibilitiesEnsure adequate spare parts inventory is available to support maintenance activities.Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers by providing accurate machine and/or application information to ensure the correct materials are purchased through Purchase Orders.Audit spare parts inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock requirements.Follow up on supplier Purchase Orders and material deliveries, supporting the Purchasing team as needed.RequirementsIndustrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.Intermediate Excel skills.Knowledge of spare parts administration and inventory control.Knowledge of inventory auditing processes.Experience preparing and tracking purchase requisitions.Knowledge of supplier management and development.Experience negotiating with suppliers and service providers.Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.Strong negotiation skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
