Job Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. This role acts as a liaison between maintenance, production, and other departments to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate daily maintenance operations and assign tasks to technicians.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Coordinate with production to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
- Track and report maintenance KPIs (downtime, MTTR, MTBF, etc.).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in maintenance coordination or similar role.
- Advanced English level (written and spoken) – required.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Understanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
