Confidential Careers in Querétaro, Mexico, seeks a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead production and facilities teams, driving reliability of equipment and plant infrastructure.

You will implement preventive and predictive maintenance, manage budgets and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, delivering continuous improvements and operational excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• 5-10 years of maintenance leadership experience.
• English proficiency or strong command of English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance and facilities teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Drive MRO optimization, improve spare parts availability, inventory accuracy and cost control while supporting equipment reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime.
• Oversee facility infrastructure, utilities, and non-production equipment.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement to boost efficiency.
• Manage external contractors, service providers, budgets, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead emergency response activities and support safety and security programs.

Maintenance & Facilities Manager

This role requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise in maintenance and facilities management, capable of driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring the reliability of both production equipment and plant infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facilities teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Proven experience driving MRO optimization initiatives, improving spare parts availability, inventory accuracy, and cost control while supporting equipment reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Oversee facility infrastructure, utilities, and non-production support equipment.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage external contractors, service providers, maintenance budgets, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead emergency response activities and support facility safety and security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• 5-10 years of maintenance leadership experience
