Purem by Eberspächer in Mexico is seeking a qualified Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of machines and facilities. You will manage the department's budget, spare parts inventory, and ensure continuous production.

The role requires strong leadership, 10+ years in high-volume manufacturing maintenance, and 5+ years supervising staff, with expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and PLC troubleshooting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial) or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing with maintenance.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience maintaining maintenance staff.
• Experience with automotive suppliers is a plus.

• Overall Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment in a maintenance capacity.
• Supervisory Leadership: Minimum 7 years of direct experience supervising maintenance personnel.
• Automotive Industry: Minimum 5 years of experience working for a manufacturing supplier, preferably automotive.
• Vendor Management: Minimum 5 years of experience managing outside vendors and contracted services.
• Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, PLC programming/troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial) or a closely related field.
• Additional Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to analyze financial data/departmental budgets, strong written/verbal communication skills, and willingness to travel domestically by car or plane.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational & Facility Leadership: Direct and coordinate the repair, installation, and maintenance of machines, tools, equipment, buildings, grounds, and utility systems (heat, power, gas, steam, air).
• Preventive Maintenance & Production Continuity: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs in conjunction with engineering; schedule repairs and review job orders to ensure continuous production operations.
• Budgeting & Spare Parts Management: Prepare, monitor, and manage the departmental budget; hold overall responsibility for the spare parts crib/inventory and requisition required supplies.
• Process Improvement & Cost Optimization: Plan and implement new procedures to improve operations, minimize operating costs, optimize labor/materials utilization, and recommend machine modifications for new products.
• Team Development & Compliance: Direct, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; ensure full compliance with Quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO 14001) and corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies.
