Ohmite Manufacturing in Matamoros, MX, seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations ensuring reliable machinery and equipment. You will manage preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, review equipment designs for maintainability, and coordinate safety inspections with production staff.

The role requires 5 years of supervisory experience with heavy machinery, strong leadership, problem solving, and a solid understanding of ISO/IATF Quality System.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes.
• Leadership and strong problem solving/analysis skills.
• ISO / IATF Quality System experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities including review of mechanical and electrical specifications.
• Review proposed new equipment designs to assess preventive maintenance and parts availability.
• Coordinate repair work and safety inspections with production staff.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives, cost reduction and continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF Quality System.
• Provide leadership for problem resolution to drive improvements.
• Regularly check quality standards and functionality of services and machines.
• Escalate problems early and schedule repairs to minimize business loss.
• Conduct routine safety assessments and trainings for employees.

Responsibilities

• Preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Planning and coordinating maintenance activities including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications.
• Review of proposed new equipment designs to assess preventive maintenance, and availability of replacement parts.
• Working with production staff to coordinate repair work, and safety inspections.
• Manages areas of lean manufacturing techniques, cost reduction, continuous improvements.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with ISO/IATF Quality System.
• Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements.
• Check quality standards and functionality of services and machines regularly
• Escalate any problems early and schedule repairs in order to minimize loss to business
• Conduct regular assessments and trainings to ensure safety of employees
