Hutchinson is seeking a Maintenance Manager to develop and oversee maintenance practices ensuring peak performance of equipment, processes, and facilities. The role leads the maintenance supervision and technicians, coordinating with plant leadership to track metrics and drive improvements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mechanical and electrical systems, fluid power, and industrial controls, and a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial maintenance or engineering.
• Technical experience in mechanical, electrical systems, fluid power and industrial controls.
• Ability to lead Maintenance/Automation team and coordinate with site leadership.
• Knowledge of Hutchinson health, safety and environmental policies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage maintenance practices and procedures (preventive, repair).
• Monitor and report key maintenance metrics and indicators.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for equipment, processes, and facility.
• Manage equipment installations (new and refurbishment).
• Supervise Maintenance/Automation team personnel.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Plant Manager and senior staff.
• Train and evaluate maintenance personnel to meet needs.
• Ensure safe work practices by maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Travel periodically between sites for training and assistance.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

The Maintenance Manager develops and manages maintenance practices and procedures that ensure equipment, process, and facility perform at the highest level. The Maintenance Manager oversees preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, continuous improvement projects, new equipment installation, and equipment refurbishments. The maintenance manager directs the Maintenance supervisors, technicians, and other personnel to ensure corporate, site, and department metrics are tracked and achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage maintenance practices and procedures (preventive, preventive, and repair).
• Monitor, react to, and report key maintenance metrics and indicators.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement projects in regards to equipment, processes, and facility.
• Management and coordination of equipment installations (new and refurbishment).
• Management and supervision of Maintenance/Automation team personnel.
• Coordination and communication of maintenance activites with Plant Manager and site senior staff.
• Training and evaluation of maintenance personnel to meet current and future needs.
• Demonstration and assurance of safe work practices by maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Travel periodically between sites for training and assistance.
• Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years experience working in industrial maintenance or engineering.

Technical experience in mechanical systems, electrical systems, fluid power (pneumatic and hydraulic), and industrial controls.
