General Motors de México is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader to oversee a small to medium team of maintenance technicians. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities in line with GM standards, driving safety and reliability.

The role is on site full-time with a 4x3 shift pattern, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to implement maintenance plans and KPIs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of assembly lines.
• More than 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results.
• Recommends solutions to problems.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
• Meets schedule and quality requirements.
• Complies with labor agreements.
• Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and housekeeping practices.
• Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group.
• Responsible for effective use of personnel, material and equipment.
• Establishes a course of action to complete jobs/projects and implement GM principles.
• Knowledge of Maintenance KPIs and strategies to manage them.
• Establishes a maintenance plan of weekends and training for their team.

• Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
• Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
• Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
• Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project. Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles
• Knowledge of Maintenance KPIs and make strategies to ma
• Establishes a maintenance plan of weekend and training for their team.

• On Site: This position requires working on site on a full-time basis.
• This position requires to change shifts (4x3).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of assembly lines.
• More than 2 years of experience in maintenance.
• Advanced English.
