General Motors de México is seeking a skilled engineer for an on-site role in Guanajuato. You will contribute to advanced manufacturing test processes and quality systems across propulsion and vehicle programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and intermediate/advanced English. You will collaborate with global teams, manage technical requirements, and drive continuous improvement in data acquisition and test systems.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing test processes, equipment, instrumentation, controls, automation, and data acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of propulsion, vehicle, component, or assembly manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans and GPDP.
  • Knowledge of test-system architecture, sensors, transducers, signal conditioning, PLC/HMI, networks, databases.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, measurement-system analysis, capability studies, SPC, and structured problem solving.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, controls, software, and product drawings.
  • Ability to define and manage technical requirements, interfaces, acceptance criteria, and change control.
  • Strong project-management, supplier-management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering tools used for documentation, planning, simulation, data analysis, or manufacturing execution.
  • Ability to work effectively with global, multicultural, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, integrity, adaptability, and decision-making judgment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Automation and Control, Electromechanics and Manufacturing systems.
  • Intermediate - advanced English.
