Vertiv in Monterrey, Mexico seeks a Customs and IMMEX Operations Coordinator to supervise import and export activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures.

You will coordinate with customs brokers, monitor inventory per Annex 24, and work with logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering and compliance to ensure proper execution and traceability of IMMEX operations.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and supervise import/export activities with regulatory compliance.
• Maintain liaison with Customs Brokers for timely clearances and inspections.
• Administer inventory control per Annex 24.
• Collaborate with logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, and compliance to ensure traceability of IMMEX operations.
• Ensure proper application of customs regimes and related terms.
• Monitor non-tariff regulations and restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations.
• Prepare and transmit customs declarations with consistent tariff/tax information.
• Retain foreign trade compliance files per current regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, or weekends.

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and the company’s internal procedures.
• Maintain constant coordination with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances, addressing inspections, amendments, operational errors, and government requirements.
• Administer and monitor proper inventory control in accordance with Annex 24 requirements.
• Coordinate with internal areas such as logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, and Compliance to ensure proper execution and traceability of IMMEX operations.
• Ensure the correct application of customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, and changes of regime), verifying that transactions are executed within authorized terms and conditions.
• Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations (NOMs, prior permits, automatic notices, quotas, certifications, among others).
• Supervise the proper preparation, validation, and transmission of customs declarations, ensuring consistency of tariff, tax, and identifier information.
• Ensure the integration and retention of foreign trade compliance files in accordance with current regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, and/or weekends, as required by operational needs.
