LOGISTICA BISON MEXICO, based in Querétaro, is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative functions of the Bison Logistics Team. The role focuses on tracking shipments to identify loads at risk of being late, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and updating arrivals and departures in the operating system to keep service on track.

Ideal candidates will have strong English, analytical and organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience is an asset, but not a must.
• Advanced command of the English language with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Sound analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Decision making and organizational skills.
• Proven communication and time-management skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Track shipments in real-time using GPS.
• Contact drivers and dispatch by phone to confirm status updates.
• Monitor and update events such as arrivals and departures in various operating systems.
• Identify delays or route deviations and elevate as needed.
• Process shipment updates received from various sources.
• Provide proactive shipment status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries for information from various sources.
• Record information in various operating systems.
• Troubleshoot as required.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.
