Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mexico seeks a Business Systems Specialist to lead Lean transformation across manufacturing operations. You will facilitate Kaizen events, map value streams, and drive problem solving to deliver sustainable improvements.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to embed Lean principles into daily management, coach teams, and track performance metrics, ensuring safe, efficient, and ergonomic processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Expertise in Lean tools: VSM, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, standard work, takt time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with A3-style methods.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean transformation initiatives and Kaizen events.
• Facilitate value stream mapping and develop future-state plans.
• Drive structured problem solving using A3, PDCA, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to embed Lean into daily management.
• Coach employees and monitor performance metrics.
