Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a dedicated Continuous Improvement professional to drive plant performance in the Monterrey area. You will assess current operations, design a future state, and implement JCBS projects across teams to elevate efficiency and quality.

You will coach frontline leaders, manage kaizen events, and collaborate with senior leadership to meet annual goals while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in Continuous Improvement and 5+ years as an operational frontline leader.
• Strong leadership and change-management capability.
• Proficiency with statistics for process improvement and data-driven decisions.
• Certifications in lean methods from a reputable provider.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in plant metrics and establish strategies to improve them.
• Assess Operations, define Future State, and drive implementation plans.
• Coach frontline leaders and teams in JCBS and continuous improvement.
• Ensure process owners are involved in software development and team leadership.
• Prepare detailed plans and track progress using kaizen funnel systems to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant CI Roadmap balancing internal efficiency with external customer-focused projects.
• Document learnings and share best practices across AHU plants.
• Support Plant Manager with strategic initiatives and adherence to standards.
• Deliver annual plant goals and uphold safety and ethics standards.
