Johnson Controls Durango site seeks a Lean Transformation Specialist to own the Lean journey for a key value stream. You will assess, plan, and drive future state improvements, coaching teams and ensuring JCBS integration across operations.

Requires 5+ years in manufacturing and 2+ years in continuous improvement, with Green Belt/Six Sigma or Lean certification. Role focuses on waste elimination, process excellence, and daily management adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferably in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, with 2 years in manufacturing operations and 2 years in continuous improvement/lean.
• 2+ years of indirect leadership experience to drive Lean Transformation.
• Green Belt Six Sigma or Lean Certification in Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work.
• Strong Lean tools knowledge: VSM, Kaizen facilitation, SMED, 5S, standard work, takt time, flow, pull systems.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and CAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Own the Lean Transformation Journey for one of the engineered-to-order value streams at the Durango site.
• Report to the Business System Director and collaborate with the Value Stream Manager to implement JCBS.
• Assess current state, identify gaps, and develop future state plans; monitor progress and share learnings.
• Design and implement process improvements across the JCBS, ensuring vertical and horizontal integration.
• Lead improvement projects aligned with strategy and priorities; coach improvement teams.
• Drive daily management sustainment for the value stream and perform time studies to balance operations.
• Utilize 3P to create site flow and modify layouts to support transformation.
• Document learnings and share best practices across NA Chillers plants and JCI.
