Johnson Controls in Mexico is seeking a Business Systems Specialist to lead Lean transformation, run Kaizen events, and map value streams to drive sustainable improvements. You will guide cross-functional teams, solve problems using A3/PDCA, and ensure Lean principles are embedded in daily operations.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering to optimize processes, support 3P activities and prototype development, and help build a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or industrial engineering.
• Expertise in Lean tools: VSM, Kaizen facilitation, SMED, 5S, standard work, takt time, flow, pull systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using A3 or similar methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Experience in a high-mix, fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Lean transformation activities and Kaizen events.
• Develop value stream maps and future-state implementation plans.
• Apply structured problem solving (A3, PDCA) and root-cause analysis.
• Embed Lean into daily management with operations, engineering, and leadership.
• Provide direction to the Moonshiner/prototypes to support Lean design intent, ergonomics, and safety.
• Support Production Preparation Process (3P) activities including layout optimization and process simulation.
• Develop Lean standards, visual management, and performance metrics.
• Coach and mentor employees to build Lean capability.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvements and track results.
• Support capital projects and new product/process introductions with Lean principles.
