Fanatics Collectibles is establishing its engineering presence in Mexico City and seeks an Engineering Manager to build and lead the Trust & Safety software team from the ground up. This leader will partner with the Senior Director, Engineering to set culture, operational excellence, and growth across the site.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience.
• Experience leading agile engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of backend engineering, cloud-native applications, distributed systems, and AWS.
• Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
• Lead performance management, career development, and employee engagement.
• Lead delivery of engineering initiatives across Trust & Safety.
• Partner with Product Managers and Technical Leads to prioritize work and deliver customer value.
• Manage execution risks and balance feature delivery with technical quality.
• Serve as a key partner to the Senior Director, Engineering in scaling the engineering organization.
• Partner with senior engineers and architects on technical direction.
• Promote engineering best practices, reliability, testing, and operational excellence.
• Build relationships across Product, Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate priorities, delivery progress, and risks to leadership.
