LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Mexico City seeks a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of developers, mentor engineers, and shape technical direction.

You will work in a bilingual, multicultural environment, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high‑quality software in an agile setting while onboarding and growing junior engineers. The role requires onsite presence two days per week in Mexico City and strong data modeling skills.

Formación

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Residency in Mexico City and available to work onsite 2 days per week.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React).
• Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Skilled in test-driven development and working with complex data models.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical resources.
• Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator across diverse audiences and organizational levels.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first point of contact for technical issues within your team.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to finalize requirements.
• Write and review technical specifications and code for moderately complex systems.
• Resolve advanced bugs and technical challenges.
• Promote best practices in development, including code reviews and testing.
• Work in Agile, Kanban, or other development environments.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in their growth.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Design and manage complex data models.
• Lead team operations including hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering innovation.
• Encourage accountability, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration.
