Fanatics is establishing a new technology hub in Mexico City focused on operational excellence and platform scalability, trust, and customer experience. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to backend services, automation, and tooling that improve customer support workflows, trust and safety investigations, fraud detection operations, and financial operations efficiency.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building backend systems and APIs using Python, Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and operational tooling.
• Support operational workflows across CX, Trust & Safety, and Financial Operations platforms.
• Develop automation solutions that reduce manual operational effort and improve scalability.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations teams to translate business workflows into technical solutions.
• Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Contribute to service reliability, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Support incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Participate in agile planning, sprint execution, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor and support junior engineers where appropriate
