Fanatics Collectibles in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable operational systems across Fanatics Collectibles' global platforms. You will shape backend services and drive automation and reliability.

You will mentor engineers and partner with Product, Data, CX Ops, Compliance, and Finance to implement robust solutions, ensuring observability and high availability for millions of users worldwide.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and backend platforms.
• Strong experience with Python, Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with event-driven systems and service integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and implementation of scalable operational platforms and backend services.
• Architect systems supporting customer operations, fraud detection workflows, dispute management, payment operations, and trust tooling.
• Drive automation, reliability, and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, CX Operations, Compliance, and Finance to define technical solutions.
• Improve system observability, resiliency, and incident readiness.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analyses, and incident response efforts.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and coaching.
• Drive engineering standards, development processes, and best practices.
