Amazon is seeking a Software Development Manager in Mexico City to lead the Devices Sales & Customer Experience (DCSX) engineering team. You will own end-to-end delivery, set technical direction, and grow engineering talent in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with product and business stakeholders, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers to build scalable, reliable systems for devices and services and to enhance customer experiences.

Formación

• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Knowledge of engineering practices across the full software lifecycle.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby or C#.

Responsabilidades

• Team Management: Build and nurture a high-performing organization through hiring, retention, performance management, mentoring, and skills development.
• Architectural Oversight: Drive architecture, design, implementation, and operational support of critical tools and services.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate complex requirements and communicate risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Communication: Act as the primary contact for deliverables, managing expectations and collaboration across teams.
• Standards and Processes: Establish high standards for processes and execution to ensure quality and efficiency.
