Job summary

Genpact Ltd. in Mexico seeks a Lead Engineer, DevOps to spearhead a high-performing DevOps team, drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and best-practice tooling across production environments.

The role covers cloud architecture on AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization, IaC adoption, and collaboration with development and operations to resolve incidents and optimize cost, performance, and security. Remote, day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in CS, Computer Systems, Software Eng, or related field.
• Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing cloud-native strategies.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, IaC, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a DevOps engineering team, driving technical excellence and career development across the workstream.
• Own infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipeline design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across production environments.
• Define and implement DevOps best practices, standards, and tooling strategies aligned with organizational technology roadmap.
• Partner with development and operations teams to troubleshoot critical production incidents and drive root-cause resolution.
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP, optimizing cost, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Drive adoption of containerization, orchestration, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices across engineering teams and projects.
• Manage DevOps budget allocation, vendor relationships, and tool licensing to optimize operational efficiency and ROI.
