Nexaminds in Mexico (remote) seeks a Principal Backend Engineer to lead backend systems and deployment infra, defining standards for scalable microservices with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and CI/CD. You will mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions across teams.

This role requires 8+ years of hands-on development, strong DevOps leadership, and deep experience with Azure and cloud platforms to ensure security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with backend systems.
• Expert in Java (Java 11/17+) and distributed microservices with Spring Boot.
• Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD, deployment patterns and pipeline automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and enterprise secret management.
• Proven architectural leadership and mentoring of engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and evolution of scalable microservices in Java/Spring Boot.
• Define robust CI/CD frameworks and multi-environment deployment patterns.
• Drive security practices across apps and pipelines, integrating secret management.
• Oversee distributed systems for high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Set coding standards and conduct architectural/code reviews across teams.
• Collaborate with managers, product, security, and infrastructure to align goals.
