Job summary

Clarios is seeking an experienced in-house Counsel to lead Legal Compliance across LATAM and manage Litigation in Mexico. You will provide strategic counsel, oversee investigations, training, and policy support to mitigate risk and promote transparent business practices.

You will define litigation strategy for labor, commercial, civil and criminal matters, supervise outside counsel, manage budgets, and report outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Mexico with 8–12 years of experience in Litigation and Compliance.
• In-house counsel experience in multinational companies.
• Strong investigation and interview skills; willingness to travel 30–50% in LATAM/globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead LATAM compliance programs: provide legal advice, training, oversight, and reporting.
• Define litigation strategy for labor, commercial, civil, and criminal matters; supervise outside counsel; manage budgets.
• Direct investigations into ethical violations and regulatory breaches; report to business and finance teams.
• Maintain Mexico’s Criminal Prevention Compliance Program and monitor compliance across LATAM.
