Job summary

Mattel Latin America seeks a Senior Communications & PR leader to steer the regional function across LATAM, aligning enterprise communications, executive visibility, and brand PR with business objectives.

The role oversees crisis communications, government affairs, and interacts with regional leadership; you will develop regional strategies and mentor the LATAM team, including senior associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, analytics, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in BI/Analytics or Commercial Planning in a corporate setting.
• Background in toys, technology, or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead LATAM Communications across enterprise, exec, and PR.
• Develop regional comms strategies aligning corporate, commercial and brand priorities.
• Advise regional leadership on reputation, executive visibility, and issues management.
• Oversee Brand & Franchise PR across LATAM for multiple portfolios.
• Lead crisis communications and governance with regional/global stakeholders.
• Drive governance and measurement of campaigns and external voice.
• Mentor LATAM Communications team and foster collaboration across regions.
• Champion modern analytics practices and AI-enabled communications.
