Job summary

Citigroup is seeking an Application Support Analyst to deliver reliable L2 support for critical banking applications, ensuring stability and performance across global operations. You will resolve incidents, coordinate with technology partners, and translate technical findings for stakeholders.

You will work mostly independently, collaborate with development and infrastructure teams, apply ITIL practices, and participate in disaster recovery and post-deployment validation in a complex financial

Qualifications

• Over 3 years in application support for banking/financial apps at L2 level.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix, SQL, Mainframe, and Oracle in production support.
• Familiar with incident and problem management per ITIL.
• Ability to distill complex data into clear findings for stakeholders.
• Advanced English communication, written and verbal.
• Independent planning, prioritization, and workload management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver L2 support for banking/financial systems, resolving incidents with short-term fixes and long-term remediation.
• Manage incident and problem lifecycles, with timely resolution and clear stakeholder reporting.
• Serve as liaison between business users and internal tech teams/vendors, translating findings clearly.
• Coordinate post-release validation after deployments and infrastructure updates.
• Analyze applications for risks and vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with developers to prioritize bug fixes and align on requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation for the team.
• Participate in disaster recovery assessments and stability initiatives.
