Vortex Freight is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Billing Clerk (Bilingual Spanish/English) to manage daily invoicing operations at our Monterrey office. The role requires clear communication with clients and collaboration with our accounting teams in Mexico and Canada. You will generate invoices, upload to portals, and create reports while maintaining client-specific billing requirements.

On-site hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch, and full training is provided.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• 1–2+ years in billing, invoicing, or related finance role.
• Strong Excel skills for data reporting and analysis.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsabilidades

• Generate and process daily invoices accurately and on time.
• Maintain and organize client-specific billing requirements.
• Upload invoices to client portals and ensure timely delivery.
• Create reports to monitor invoicing processes.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual (Spanish/English) Junior Billing Clerk to manage the daily invoicing operations in alignment with client-specific requirements. The role requires strong communication with customers and collaboration with internal teams, including the accounting departments in both Mexico and Canada.

This position is ideal for a professional who is proactive, service-oriented, and eager to support the company's continued growth. This is an on-site role based at our Monterrey office, scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break

Responsibilities

• Generate and process daily invoices accurately and on time.
• Ensure attention to detail in invoice creation and uploading.
• Maintain and organize client-specific billing requirements.
• Upload invoices to client portals and ensure timely delivery.
• Create reports to monitor and track invoicing processes.
• Communicate with clients via email and phone to provide excellent billing service.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service Representatives and the accounting team in Canada.
• Responsible for creating and processing purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Full training offered to ensure success in all invoicing and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• 1-2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a related financial role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, data reporting)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
