Job summary

SHA Wellness Clinic in Cancún seeks a Head of Academy to lead the Academy operation, driving SHA’s Learning & Development and Culture strategy locally. You will ensure training priorities are executed, design learning journeys, manage onboarding, and coordinate the internal trainer programme to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, HR, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
• Master’s degree in HRM or Learning & Development is highly desirable.
• Train-the-Trainer, coaching, or project-management qualifications are valued.
• Strong execution, planning, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Guest-centric mindset and commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and update the annual Academy Plan aligned with SHA Mexico and corporate strategy.
• Identify training needs with departmental leaders and managers.
• Implement Learning & Development and Culture programmes for SHA Mexico.
• Design learning journeys across classroom, virtual, and experiential formats.
• Manage onboarding programme content, facilitators, and evidence.
• Coordinate and monitor internal Trainer programme and service standards training.
• Oversee budget, suppliers, and events to strengthen SHA Culture.
