• Experience in onsite or field IT support.
• Proficient across Windows, macOS, Linux and mobile devices.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, APs).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite end-user IT support for desktops, laptops and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user issues.
• Manage IT equipment provisioning, imaging, deployment and decommissioning.
• Support office network, Wi‑Fi, AV and workplace tech.
• Install and troubleshoot switches, routers and access points.
• Support conference rooms and smart office systems.
• Maintain asset inventory and perform regular audits.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and stock management.
• Assist with office moves and IT deployment projects.
• Provide remote hands support and liaise with vendors.
• Escalate complex issues and document resolutions.

Job Summary

Sharp Brains is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide onsite end-user support, office IT infrastructure support, asset management, and project-based technical assistance in Mexico City.

The successful candidate will work closely with remote technical teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure reliable IT operations and timely resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user-related issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Provision, deploy, replace, image, track, and decommission IT equipment.
• Support office network connectivity, Wi-Fi, printing, AV, voice, and workplace technologies.
• Install and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points, and related IT infrastructure.
• Support conference rooms, digital signage, and smart office technologies.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Coordinate warranty repairs, equipment redeployment, disposal, and stock management.
• Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations, and IT deployment projects.
• Provide remote hands support and coordinate with third-party vendors when required.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2/remote technical teams and maintain clear documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in onsite IT support, desktop support, or IT field services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge covering LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and access points.
• Experience with IT hardware asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote teams and vendors.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
