Job summary

Essity is hiring a People Experience Specialist in Mexico City. You will deliver HR operational support, coordinate key processes, and ensure global and local HR standards are met. You will work closely with employees and line managers to enhance the employee lifecycle and maintain accurate HR data.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 2–3 years in HR administration, and fluent English and Spanish. A customer-focused, detail-oriented, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in HR administration, operations, or coordination.
• Experience with HR systems and accurate employee data management.
• Customer-focused with strong organization, confidentiality and problem-solving.
• Fluent English and Spanish communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries with timely guidance and high service quality.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including communications and logistics.
• Manage employee changes (moves, leaves, absences) in HR systems.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure process compliance.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and escalate complex matters.
• Assist with employee relations documentation and case coordination.
• Support local implementation of global HR processes and engagement initiatives.

About the Role

As a People Experience Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Working closely with employees and line managers, you will provide HR operational support, coordinate key people processes, and ensure compliance with global standards and local requirements.

What You Will Do

• Employee Support: Respond to employee and line manager inquiries, providing timely guidance and resolution while delivering an excellent service experience.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, communications, and logistical arrangements.
• Employee Lifecycle Administration: Manage and process employee changes such as job movements, leave requests, absences, and other HR transactions within HR systems.
• HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes are completed according to established workflows and compliance requirements.
• Policy Guidance: Provide support and guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures, escalating complex matters when appropriate.
• Employee Relations Support: Assist with employee relations documentation and support case coordination activities.
• HR Initiatives & Process Execution: Support the local implementation of global and business unit HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or HR coordination roles.
• Experience working with HR systems and employee data management, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Customer-focused professional with strong organizational skills, confidentiality, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to work.
• Fluent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
