Job summary

Forvia in Puebla is seeking an Industrial Program Engineer to lead and coordinate production launches, industrialization efforts, and process improvements across the plant. You will work with cross-functional teams to hit milestones, ensure on-time customer deliveries, and optimize productivity with strong change-management skills.

You will act as the liaison between the program and the plant, manage start-up budgeting, and drive standard documentation and training programs for new launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Operational experience in a production environment.
• Experience improving processes and KPIs within a plant.
• Plant launch experience and management experience is a plus.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills; ability to train within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Meet PMS milestones on time by coordinating and securing work packages with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure on-time deliveries to the customer.
• Lead Run at Rate exercises to achieve productivity and quality targets.
• Oversee industrialization works (equipment installation, material flow systems, plant relocations).
• Act as the link between the Program and the Plant and track startup budgets.
• Monitor TRS/OEE curves and ramp-up approvals by the customer.
• Develop standard documentation for new launches with cross-functional support.
• Define direct labor hiring and training and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with PC&L team to secure raw-material supply.
• Identify risks and report discrepancies against BP objectives.
• Develop and implement improvement ideas; support PT, MPTs, EMPTs.
