FORVIA HELLA is seeking an Entry-level Industrial Engineer in Irapuato, Mexico, to improve productivity and efficiency in the production area using industrial engineering methods and lean thinking.

You will support data collection for capacity planning, assist in implementing optimization projects, and contribute to standardizing processes and procedures across assembly, preproduction and logistics.

Formación

• Professional education or a special diploma
• More than 2 up to 3 years of related experience

Responsabilidades

• Assist implementation of the respective tools, ensure coherence and uniformity of the introduced methods and tools in cooperation with the Operational Excellence Specialist and Operational Excellence Manager
• Participate in the drawing up of the improvement plan for the plant to be looked after
• Inspect the production areas to be looked after aiming at detecting potentials for improvement in the current workflow and company organization structure, do cause analysis and device appropriate measures
• Participate in the preparation of suggestions for improvement and function as interface to CIP
• Plan, support and handle little improvement projects with reference to the procedures, logistic conceptions, processes and systems of work in collaboration with the shop floor areas
• Help in the creation and subsequent implementation of technical process standards and logistic procedures in cooperation with the responsible entities taking the production system (e.g. HelPS) into account
• Participate in the corporate improvement process (e.g. Kaizen), support implementation of the suggestions for improvement in collaboration with the responsible entities
• Participate in working out and introducing methods to extend Operative Excellence in overhead and TtM processes (e.g. lessons learned)
• Carry out internal action success control by harmonizing business administration data in collaboration with the respective organizational units
• Providing support with preparation of workshops and training materials
