Job summary
Flex is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Juarez team, supporting NPI, line optimization, and continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing operations.
You will coordinate takt time, cycle times, and labor requirements, analyze layouts and production schedules, and drive improvements in efficiency and cost. Fluency in English and AutoCAD proficiency are required for this role.
Qualifications
- Industrial Engineering preferred or related field.
- Conversational English.
- AutoCAD required.
- Capacity Analysis.
- Line Balancing.
- Kaizen / Continuous Improvement.
- Production Line Projects.
- MOST / REFA / Time Studies.
- Recent Manufacturing Experience.
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate process planning and setup with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor.
- Review results during prototyping and trial runs and provide feedback to NPI and sales team.
- Examine staff utilization, facility layout, and production data to optimize resources.
- Recommend methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities.
- Confer with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
- Develop management systems for cost reviews and wage administration.
- Design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure quality.
- Identify efficient plant locations and distribution of goods and services.
- Lead Lean, Automation and Six Sigma initiatives to improve throughput.
