Flex is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Juarez team, supporting NPI, line optimization, and continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate takt time, cycle times, and labor requirements, analyze layouts and production schedules, and drive improvements in efficiency and cost. Fluency in English and AutoCAD proficiency are required for this role.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate process planning and setup with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor.
• Review results during prototyping and trial runs and provide feedback to NPI and sales team.
• Examine staff utilization, facility layout, and production data to optimize resources.
• Recommend methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities.
• Confer with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
• Develop management systems for cost reviews and wage administration.
• Design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure quality.
• Identify efficient plant locations and distribution of goods and services.
• Lead Lean, Automation and Six Sigma initiatives to improve throughput.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Industrial Engineer located in Juarez

What a typical day looks like:

• During NPI coordinates process planning and set up with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor requirement.
• Reviews result during protyping and trial runs and gives feedback to NPI and sales team.
• Examines staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
• Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
• Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
• May develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
• Develops management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost reviews, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.
• Designs or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as defining the most efficient plant locations.
• Manages and supports initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas like Lean, Automation and/or Six Sigma projects.
