ANDREW an Amphenol company in Reynosa is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage import/export activities, analyze shipment requirements, and select carriers to minimize costs.

You will prepare documents, coordinate with freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have bilingual English-Spanish skills, 2–5 years of import/export experience, and familiarity with SAP systems.

Formación

• Two to five years in importation of raw materials and equipment; as well as the export of finished product and return of machinery (maquila program).
• APICS certification preferred.
• Proficient with SAP and PC usage.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, traffic regulations, international regulations, certifications and import-export licenses.
• Bilingual English-Spanish.
• Knowledge of quality system and EHS management system concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze the needs of the company and customers, researching transportation methods and agencies, auditing costs and performance, to ensure the lowest transportation cost.
• Follow all instructions regarding work dictated by the immediate supervisor.
• From an analysis derived from the shipment requirements, identify and select the carrier for the different shipments.
• Interacts with internal and external customers, freight forwarders and agencies and other functional areas to ensure the coordination and logistics of shipments.
• Prepares documentation for shipments including documents, invoices, packing lists, export-import declarations, shipping instructions and any other required documents.
• Responsible for releasing and maintaining delivery documents, auditing bills of lading and receipts, and providing transportation costs. Resolve and follow up on shipment-related issues.
• Maintain your work area and equipment in a clean, safe and professional manner. The employee is expected to follow all safety rules, keep their work area clean and tidy; and wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas that are needed.
• Have knowledge and management of the Entropy system.
• Know the responsibilities of the EHS system.

Qualification Requirements

• University degree
• Experience of two (2) to five (5) years in the area of importation of raw materials and equipment; as well as the export of finished product and return of machinery (maquila program).
• APICS certification preferred.
• Effective on the PC and highly familiar with SAP.
• Knowledge and/or experience in shipping regulations, traffic regulations, international regulations, certifications and import-export licenses.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize them in order of importance.
• Bilingual English-Spanish.
• Knowledge of quality system and EHS management system concepts.
