Job summary

ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo León, is seeking an HSE Specialist to improve Health, Safety and Environment performance. You will lead waste management, coordinate storm water sampling, and liaise with regulators to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's in sustainability or related field, 2+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency in ISO standards, SEMARNAT/PROFEPA. Strong English, Power BI, and AI skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, administrative or industrial engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in HSE roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading internal audits for ISO 45001 & 50001.
• Knowledge of Clean Industry, ZWTL and Net Zero programs.
• Familiarity with SEMARNAT and PROFEPA regulations.
• Experience with Power BI and AI.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead waste management techniques and collection of storm water samples.
• Facilitate regulatory inspections and manage environmental risks.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Submit critical reports to government agencies.
