Sonoco, a global packaging leader, is seeking an experienced HR Manager in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. You will shape and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and lead talent management, employee relations, and compliance.

You will partner with leadership to foster a high-performance culture, manage payroll and benefits, and drive HR metrics to inform decision making. The role demands strong communication, labor-law knowledge, and the ability to influence at all levels.

Formación

• Proven experience as HR Manager or HR Executive.
• People-oriented, results-driven, and collaborative.
• Strong knowledge of HR metrics and payroll/benefits administration.
• Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
• Foster a positive working environment and culture.

• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field.
