Zusammenfassung

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Housing Specialist to coordinate and oversee the VOCA Housing for Crime Victims Special Project and the DVP TANF Flex Funds initiative. The role includes mobile advocacy for crime victims as they transition to or maintain safe, long-term housing in Durango and surrounding areas.

You will conduct intake interviews, determine housing needs, and partner with Housing Solutions for the Southwest to coordinate lease-ups, funding, and supportive services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• At least two years of human service experience.
• Direct experience with housing and homelessness is preferred.

• Coordinates VOCA funding and supports housing stability initiatives.
• Provides trauma-informed care and mobile advocacy to crime victims.
• Assists with intake, documentation, and collaboration with partner housing agencies.
