Job summary

Arthur Center is seeking a Crisis Care Coordinator to join our Behavioral Health Outreach team in Missouri. You will provide first-response intervention for mental health and substance use crises, de-escalate acute situations, complete risk assessments, and connect clients to local resources, whether virtually or in person.

This full-time role supports follow-up care within 72 hours and works within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong clinical de-escalation and crisis intervention skills expected.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-response intervention for mental health and substance use crises.
• De-escalate crisis acuity and connect individuals to local services as needed.
• Complete risk assessments and safety plans for each individual.
• Provide in-person mobile crisis response where appropriate.
• Participate in on-call rotation and backup daytime mobile crisis requests.
